I more often than not follow the 16:8 way of eating as it suits me during term time and my teaching timetable as I teach early morning and late evening. But some days like when I'm leisurely getting the kids breakfast I feel ravenous! A wrap is a good solution (I serve these at the Woodland Workout monthly breakfasts) with spinach, fresh herbs, cucumber, avocado and chilli oil and I can't wait to eat it......! With my cup of tea of course.....
A simple buckwheat pancake makes a great wrap and you can make a big batch so there are plenty leftover for the week ahead {great topped with salad/avocado 🥑 and/ or egg 🥚and the kids will have them with ham / grated cheese. I make 8 with 250g buckwheat flour and 1/2 tsp salt mixed with 600ml water and 2 eggs that have been whisked together. Mix the wet and stir it in with the dry basically! Ladle onto a pan and flip. Yum.
